Our story

As customers, we wondered why consultants and suppliers just wanted to sell us their “solutions” without hearing about our context. We decided that someday we’d build a company that would put customer understanding at its heart – and that before we would start a project, we would take time to see everything about the client's business, and what made it special.

​In 2001, the opportunity to do that came knocking – and that’s how PANOPTIKA was born. We listen to our clients and help them see everything they need to know to make better decisions, without getting stuck in waves of complexity and ambiguity.

Megann is a curious questioner and results-oriented strategic thinker with skills in Sales, Marketing, Market Research and Strategic Planning, for Scientific and Small Businesses, Associations and Academia.

With an MBA from Queen’s University, she also serves as VP Communications on the Board of the Canadian Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (CCSBE). As a business coach and professional facilitator, she works with clients from Small Business to the C-Suite, in person and virtually, wherever clients need her.

In her toolkit: public speaking, business and strategic planning, facilitation, depth-interviewing, focus group moderation, creative problem solving, design thinking, frameworks, and business coaching.

Steve is a problem-solver and investigator with skills gained in Sales, Product Development, Market Intelligence and Planning skills in Business-to-Business, Technology, Healthcare and Pharma.

In addition to being a Professional Engineer, Steve is a former board member of the Research Agency Council (RAC) of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA). He is actively involved in Product Management and innovation communities with a healthcare and science focus, and works with clients in person and online.

In his toolkit: strategic decision-making frameworks, forecasting and forecast design, depth-interviewing, focus group moderation, community management, design thinking, and team collaboration.
